Proxies
Proxies (代理管理) in the sidebar: the pool of outbound IPs for your accounts. One proxy can be bound to many accounts; an unbound account connects directly.
Only SOCKS5 and HTTP (CONNECT tunnel) are supported. SOCKS4 and MTProto are not.
Adding
Add proxy (添加代理) takes one entry at a time: note (required), type, IP or domain, port, username, password. Leave the country empty and it is detected from the IP.
Import proxies (导入代理) takes a txt file, one entry per line; lines starting with # are skipped:
socks5://username:password@host:port
http://username:password@host:port
host:port:username:password
host:port
Entries without a prefix are treated as SOCKS5. Entries whose address, port, username and password are all identical count as duplicates and are marked Already exists (已存在) in the preview.
Latency test
Test all (批量测速), or Test (测速) on a single row: opens one TCP connection through the proxy to a Telegram data center with an 8-second timeout, and shows the latency or the error reason. Saving a proxy does not test it automatically, so remember to run a test after adding.
Binding accounts
Three entry points: step one of the login wizard, Use proxy (使用代理) in Import sessions, and the Proxy (代理) button in the account library (works in bulk).
- After rebinding, an account that is already online has to log in again before it uses the new proxy
- When you delete a proxy, the accounts bound to it are unbound automatically; logged-in ones likewise have to log in again before they switch to a direct connection
Proxies determine concurrency
Bulk actions in the account library, Import sessions, Member Harvest and Bulk DM all run with concurrency grouped by proxy: by default, accounts on the same proxy queue up and the next one starts only when the previous one finishes, while different proxies run in parallel.
So 50 accounts on 1 proxy and 50 accounts spread over 10 proxies differ in speed by an order of magnitude. All accounts on a direct connection count as one group. The two limits are in Settings · Concurrency.
